About the Role

As a General Merchandise Expert at Target, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional shopping experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring that all products are accurately priced and signed.
  • Process inbound deliveries, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and ensuring that all inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
  • Assist with inventory management, including conducting cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and improve store operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
