Alpine Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Underwriter to join our team. As a Medical Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing medical information and making decisions on life insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical information and make decisions on life insurance applications
- Analyze risk and review records to understand long-term and short-term risk
- Recommend declinations for senior underwriter review
- Work with electronic workflows and medical underwriting workbenches
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient processing of applications
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a medical/individual underwriter
- Life insurance underwriting experience (not supplemental health)
- Approval limit/signing authority of $300,000 or higher
- LOMA certification and/or risk management degree
