Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welding Specialist to join our team. This position primarily involves TIG welding, with some MIG welding responsibilities.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding on components in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead
  • Inspect workpieces for defects and measure them to ensure they meet specifications
  • Select and set up welding equipment according to the type and thickness of materials
  • Adjust gas flow and pressure to achieve the desired flame characteristics
  • Remove excess weld or spatter using hand tools or grinders
  • Align and straighten weldments to conform to technical drawings
  • Preheat materials before welding or bending using appropriate heating tools
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints is essential
  • Experience with measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers is required
  • Understanding of raw materials and manufacturing processes
  • Commitment to quality control in welding operations
  • TIG welding (GTAW) certification is advantageous
