We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Sinker EDM Specialist at MGS Mfg. Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Makino EDM machines to meet the company's high standards.

• Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate all Makino EDM machines to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Quality Control: Understand and adhere to quality standards, methods, and reporting procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Tooling and Equipment Maintenance: Read engineering drawings, use measuring devices, and perform repairs or request replacements as needed to maintain accurate inventory and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Collaboration and Training: Coordinate with specialty machining areas, work with apprentices, and maintain exceptional attendance and flexibility to meet changing work priorities.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.

• Education and Experience: Completion of a state indentured tool and die apprenticeship with a journeyman card and/or accrued experience operating Sinker EDM Machines.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Pro-E is preferred but not required. Lock out/Tag out and Forklift experience are also essential.
