We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiation Oncology Physicist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert radiological physics support to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Equipment monitoring and quality assurance/control for Radiation Oncology Department
- Clinical application of radiation oncology and documentation necessary in therapeutic applications
- Assisting the Chief Medical Physicist in brachytherapy services, including high dose rate and prostate seed implantation
- Evaluating and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for physics functions and operations within the department
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Masters Degree in Medical Physics or related field
- Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- ABR certification or eligibility
- 3+ years experience in Radiation Oncology, preferably with clinical application of medical physics, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, and Prostate Seed Implants
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
