Job Summary:
HonorHealth is seeking a Healthcare Operations Support Specialist to support hospital operations as a PBX operator and Security dispatcher. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with technology.

The Healthcare Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for answering calls, dispatching resources to emergencies, and serving as a front-line customer service agent. They will work with state-of-the-art technology, including software, surveillance equipment, and be part of the hospital's first responder network.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and as part of a team. This is an entry-level position that provides on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external callers
  • Answering and responding to security dispatch call traffic
  • Interacting with multiple software platforms to problem-solve and serve caller needs
  • Activating resources to emergency codes, security issues, and staff/patient needs
  • Covering the Customer Navigation Center's phones after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Assisting in training and precepting new staff
  • Maintaining department resources, service books, downtime resources, and flip charts
