Job Description

As a Direct Care Staff Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Providing supervision and training to clients as outlined on their Individual Program Plan">
  • Implementing behavioral procedures when maladaptive behaviors occur">
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing and oral hygiene">
  • Accompanying and training clients on planned outings">
  • Attending in-service training sessions to maintain employment and improve skills">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A minimum of a 10th-grade education">
  • On-the-job training provided">
  • Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of experience in a similar position or in a health service occupation">
  • CPR certification preferred">
