Position Overview

Audubon Companies, a prominent EPC firm, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in LNG projects. This role entails overseeing the structural engineering aspects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and maintaining the integrity of engineering designs for LNG facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with client teams to assess and analyze EPC bid submissions for LNG initiatives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project by reviewing foundational documents such as plot plans, PFDs, SOW, BOD, and interface lists.
  • Supervise contractor performance to ensure compliance with technical project requirements.
  • Apply expertise in LNG Power Island and BOP design, including relevant US codes applicable to LNG facilities.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve multi-disciplinary technical challenges.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of engineering designs within your discipline.
  • Address Technical Queries and RFIs from contractors effectively.
  • Engage in critical design reviews and ensure readiness for such evaluations.
  • Monitor changes against the established baseline scope.
  • Evaluate the implications of deviations from the FEED package and provide guidance on piping considerations.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of bidders' packages to confirm alignment with regulatory commitments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an EPC environment.
  • PE license is preferred.
  • Experience leading medium to large multi-discipline projects is advantageous.
  • Prior experience with LNG projects is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with project FEED and SOW documents.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's in-house engineering and management teams.
  • Proficient in reviewing structural designs and plans, including foundation designs and marine structures.
  • Familiarity with structural codes and standards is essential.
  • Provide guidance on design-related issues concerning technical guidelines.
