The U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courtroom Deputy to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the court, ensuring the smooth operation of our judicial processes.
Responsibilities- Provide clerical and administrative support to the court, including data entry, word processing, and report generation.
- Assist with the preparation of court documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including court calendars, case files, and statistical reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to court staff, attorneys, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the court.
- High school graduation or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least two years of specialized experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a court or legal setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, including word processing, data entry, and report generation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
