KDC-Columbus is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Compounders. We are a premier manufacturer of beauty and personal care products, committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
General Information:
As a Compounder, you will be responsible for all aspects of mixing, blending, and formulating our products, including hand sanitizers and creams, in accordance with established protocols.
What We Are Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a solid understanding of math and reading comprehension.
- Experience in compounding, processing, or pre-weighing is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately stages, verifies, and delivers all raw materials necessary for bulk manufacturing in the appropriate batching tank.
- Conducts all SAP transactions related to raw materials and bulk products, ensuring precise inventory management.
- Performs visual inspections of raw materials, identifying any discrepancies or adverse reactions, and initiates corrective actions.
- Conducts calibration and maintenance checks on compounding equipment, reporting any issues to management.
- Adjusts mixer speeds to accommodate variations in equipment and material reactions.
- Collects in-process samples for quality control testing.
- Cleans and sanitizes all assigned equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Completes all necessary documentation in line with standard operating procedures.
- Handles product rework as necessary.
- Operates all processing and powered industrial equipment in compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to the company's quality system and good manufacturing practices.
Safety and Compliance:
Follows and promotes KDC's safety and environmental policies and performs other assigned duties as needed.

Salary Information:
$20 - $23 per hour
