We are seeking an Experiential Therapist Pool I to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As an Experiential Therapist, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, facilitating, directing, and evaluating experiential therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develops, plans, implements, facilitates, directs, and evaluates programming in all specialized treatment areas.
- Maintains basic staffing needs and daily functioning of the department in the leader's absence.
- Coordinates, evaluates, and supervises student interns.
- Provides individualized treatment within a group setting.
- Aware of CBT and DBT skills.
- BS/BA degree in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies required. A Master's degree in these areas is preferred.
- Certification/registration through an appropriate credentialing board preferred.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification required within thirty days of hire, with annual re-certification.
- Formal training in management of the aggressive patient required within sixty days of hire, with annual re-certification.
