Silk Screen Printer

We are seeking a skilled Silk Screen Printer to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing Group in Franklin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for printing high-quality products using our state-of-the-art screen printing equipment.

• Interpret production orders and job assignments to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with the screen print manager to set up manual and automatic jobs to specifications, using plastisol inks to produce test prints for approval.
• Learn and operate various heat transfer presses to apply different types of heat transfers to garments.
• Catch, sort, and handle garments coming down the dryer belt, inspecting them for manufacturing defects or mistakes.
• Responsible for general cleaning and handling of screens.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in different stations.
• Ability to multitask and be cross-trained in all screen-printing procedures.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team atmosphere.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 5-50 pounds.
