Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Reno, Nevada.

About the Role:

This is a travel opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment at Renown Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various areas, including cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound.
  • Operate sophisticated ultrasonic imaging units and reading and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver patient care through proper execution of care standards, physician orders, and advanced imaging skills.
  • Participate in educational sessions and contribute technical and professional knowledge to students, allied health professionals, and physicians.
  • Perform invasive techniques, such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy exams, according to policy.
Requirements:
  • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS or RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
