We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Process orders for industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as welding and safety equipment, power tools, and other products requested by customers.
- Accurately complete and file all required paperwork on a timely basis, documenting sales, quotes, and other information.
- Enter sales and quote data into the computer system and research information for customers using the computer system.
- Efficiently and accurately enter credit memorandums and research products with vendors, including pricing and availability details.
- Establish and maintain good customer relations and work with internal customers to resolve order conflicts.
- Maintain clean open order and backorder reports and current price documentation and product literature.
- Provide store branch coverage when necessary and assist in special projects, such as pricing, inventory, and sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; two-year degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service and/or sales experience.
- Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, and safety supply sales.
- Excellent customer and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
