Role Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of various equipment, including filling and packaging machinery, pumps, mixers, and the physical infrastructure of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general maintenance tasks, both preventive and reactive, including testing and operating filling machines, pumps, mixers, and compressors.
  • Assist in creating and managing the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to update maintenance checklists and maintain compliance with production and quality standards.
  • Help develop a comprehensive library of parts and operational manuals for all equipment.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance tools and spare parts.
  • Provide recommendations and cost estimates for equipment and parts necessary for maintenance projects.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, and utilize power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform all duties associated with the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of maintenance tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system maintenance and repair.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in general computer use and email.
  • Experience with high-speed filling machines, automated capping, and labeling equipment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems, circuit boards, and servo motors is a plus.
