We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Interprint Inc. in Pittsfield, MA. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving and verifying items, operating a forklift, and delivering materials to printing presses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify items by unloading vehicles with a forklift, accepting deliveries, and inspecting condition of items.
- Compare count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, noting discrepancies, and recording identifying information.
- Deliver materials to printing presses, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse operating systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
