Experienced Flatbed Truck Operator

La posición requiere una Licencia de Conductor Comercial (CDL) válida y al menos tres (3) años de experiencia verificable en transporte regulado por el DOT, cumpliendo con los requisitos mínimos de la empresa. Este puesto operará de manera segura y eficiente un camión de tractora-remolque hacia ubicaciones designadas y manejará el equipo necesario para la carga y descarga.
RESPONSABILIDADES Y TAREAS:
- Conducir la unidad de tractora-remolque a uno o más destinos de manera segura y eficiente, cumpliendo con todas las regulaciones en el transporte de carga de acuerdo con las leyes de la empresa, federales, estatales y locales, así como las regulaciones de la Administración Federal de Seguridad de Transporte (FMCSA).
- Asegurar la carga, manejo y transporte seguro de materiales y mercancías.
- Verificar indicadores y medidores para detectar fallas.
- Leer y comprender documentos como el conocimiento de embarque, programación y documentación de despacho, incluyendo el equipo requerido, ubicaciones de recogida/entrega y requisitos del remitente/destinatario.
- Verificar los números de unidad en comparación con la documentación proporcionada y reportar discrepancias.
- Asegurar la seguridad y protección del equipo y las cargas, incluyendo cualquier seguridad de carga requerida.
- Completar de manera precisa y a tiempo la documentación o registros requeridos.
- Mantener el vehículo limpio y cumplir con los estándares de limpieza.
Requisitos:
Para desempeñar este trabajo con éxito, el individuo debe poder realizar cada deber esencial de manera satisfactoria. Los requisitos que se enumeran a continuación son representativos del conocimiento, habilidad y/o capacidad requerida. Se pueden hacer adaptaciones razonables para permitir que individuos con discapacidades realicen las funciones esenciales.
- Se requiere CDL válida y tarjeta médica/física DOT. Debe ser calificado por un médico certificado por el DOT.
- Sujeto a pruebas de alcohol y drogas reguladas, que incluyen pruebas para marihuana, PCP, anfetaminas, cocaína y opioides. Debe ser calificado por una instalación de pruebas de drogas certificada por el DOT.
- Se requiere un mínimo de 2.5 a 3 años de experiencia conduciendo con licencia CDL y puede ser necesario pasar una prueba de manejo.
- Debe proporcionar una copia del registro de vehículo motorizado con las autorizaciones emitidas dentro de los 30 días y tener un MVR aceptable.
- Experiencia con Microsoft Office estándar y tecnología relacionada con el transporte.
- Debe estar autorizado para trabajar en los Estados Unidos.
