Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated outpatient team at McLaren's Health Care Campus. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and regain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify impairments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer specific tests and measures to obtain data and establish a plan of care.
- Conduct ongoing reassessments of patients and their response to treatment.
- Initiate and manage discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff and students, consistent with state laws and department policy.
- Complete accurate and clear documentation within established timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to promote maximum benefit of care.
- Assess educational needs of patients and provide education to meet those needs.
- Participate in professional growth and development through educational programs and current literature.
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy.
- Current state Board of Physical Therapy licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: One year of physical therapist experience in an outpatient setting; new graduates welcome to apply.
