Physical Therapy Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Creative Solutions in Healthcare. As a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administering physical therapy treatments to patients with various conditions and abilities.
  • Providing skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Responding to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapists.
  • Implementing and modifying patient treatment plans with PT supervision.
  • Measuring and recording patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A valid Texas license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices and modalities.
  • The ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and needs.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is an asset.
