Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Restore Therapy Services. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients and supervising therapy assistants in the performance of therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient's functional status and identify equipment needs.
- Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function.
- Communicate plans of care to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities lost due to illness or injury.
- Fabricate splints and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment.
- Train patients in the use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
- Maintain clinical records and reports changes in patient condition to physicians.
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning.
- Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Current and valid therapy license in the state employed.
- Familiarity with computer software and internet usage.
- Good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
