Position Overview

FLEX College Prep is in search of enthusiastic professionals with exceptional communication abilities to guide high school learners in their ACT verbal preparation. Instructors will initially be engaged as temporary staff, with a review period of six months for potential transition to regular part-time roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group assistance to students in academic subjects, standardized test preparation, and enrichment activities. Instructors will design and tailor lesson plans and educational materials to deliver focused, personalized academic support. Additionally, they will maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions to monitor student progress and adjust approaches as necessary. The primary goal is to help students reach their educational objectives while ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A Bachelor's degree in English or English Literature, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is required.
  • Experience in teaching core subjects and developing lesson plans for high school students in various educational settings.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with students and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for education and student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AP Course Audit certification.
  • Familiarity with standardized assessments such as AP, SAT II, SAT, ACT, etc.
