Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician at Owens Corning, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for performing precision work, utilizing machines, equipment, and measuring instruments to maintain and optimize plant assets. Your expertise will be essential in preserving and optimizing plant assets, meeting the needs of manufacturing, and providing support to other craft and non-craft employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with others to plan and perform operational maintenance to machinery and equipment associated with plant operations.
- Perform precision work utilizing machines, equipment, and measuring instruments of this multi-functional job.
- Utilize journeyman multi-functional electrical, electronic, and instrument functions to preserve and optimize plant assets and meet the needs of manufacturing.
- Provide support to other craft and non-craft employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
- Utilize computer expertise to complete records and reports and manage data.
- Use forklift, manlift, scissor lift, and other aerial lifting devices.
- Ensure a safe work environment through following safety protocols, performing general housekeeping tasks, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree or Journeyman license required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 2+ years' experience in industrial or similar environment.
