The walk-in clinic operates efficiently, catering to patients of all ages and varying health conditions. We prioritize patient care on a first-come, first-served basis, addressing a wide range of medical needs from routine check-ups to more complex issues such as lacerations and fractures.

As the sole walk-in clinic in the county, we manage and potentially transfer patients experiencing diverse medical challenges, including myocardial infarctions, strokes, pulmonary embolisms, and more. Our team typically comprises two mid-level providers, two Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), and a nurse during weekdays, while weekends generally feature a single provider supported by a nurse and PCA team. Our clinic is equipped with x-ray, laboratory, EKG, IV capabilities, and orthopedic splints to ensure comprehensive patient care. A physician is always accessible for consultation, either in person or via phone.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and deliver evidence-based medical care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Position Details:
  • Full-time role with an alternating schedule, including every other weekend.
  • Example schedule: Week 1 - Wednesday/Thursday; Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Flexibility in scheduling is available, with shift differentials for weekends and hours beyond 3 PM.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Skills: Proficient in patient care.
  • License: RN, BSN required.
