Job Title: MRI Technologist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our team's success. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Ensure accurate and efficient scanning procedures, minimizing patient wait times and optimizing image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
