About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Provider team at Divisions Maintenance Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing highly available and scalable systems in a cloud-native microservice architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend services for provider onboarding and management
  • Drive architectural conversations and collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute new ideas for features and platform enhancements

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in backend software development
  • 8+ years of designing, developing, and implementing highly available and scalable systems in a cloud-native microservice architecture
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and aggressive delivery timelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS
  • Experience with API protocols, including GraphQL, gRPC, SOAP, and REST APIs
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
  • Experience with data pipelines, including Kafka messaging and event streaming
  • Familiarity with architecture patterns, such as Onion, Hexagonal, and Clean Architecture
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
