Key Responsibilities

  • This position is part of the Construction team, and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Supervising project progress and providing updates to the job site manager.
    • Managing procurement, invoicing, and inventory of materials and equipment.
    • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, building codes, safety inspections, and local regulations.
    • Designing plumbing systems based on blueprints and layout plans.
    • Ensuring all utilities are safely shut off before commencing work on plumbing systems.
    • Accurately cutting, bending, and welding various metals including copper and stainless steel.
    • Clearing debris from piping as necessary prior to fabrication.
    • Securely installing piping or tubing segments using welding or other methods.
    • Threading, welding, and soldering pipes together.
    • Consulting with management regarding placement of penetrations in walls and concrete.
    • Verifying that pipe sizes, supports, and methods are appropriate for the task.
    • Repairing and reinforcing damaged or inadequate piping systems.
    • Conducting tests post-installation to ensure a leak-free environment.
