Neuro ICU Part Time Nights Position Summary

The Neuro ICU at Abrazo Health Network is a dedicated 7-bed ICU focused on delivering high-quality, specialized care to patients with neurosurgical and neurological injuries, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, aneurysms, tumors, and other diseases involving the brain and spine.

The Neuro care team is a multi-disciplinary one that strives to provide patient-centered care at all times. The team includes intensivists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and registered nurses who work closely with the Neurosurgeons and Neurologists of the Abrazo Neurosciences Institute.

Dedicated nursing leadership team to support education and clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with neurosurgical and neurological injuries.
  • Collaborate with the Neuro care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for the Neuro care team.
Requirements:
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1 year of acute care experience in ICU or Neuro ICU preferred.
  • ACLS/CPR required upon orientation completion.
  • ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab certifications preferred.
  • CNRN or CCRN certifications preferred.
