About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality resident care and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing care plans, and administering medications. You will also be responsible for monitoring resident health and safety, conducting wellness visits, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct monthly wellness visits and monitor resident health and safety
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless resident care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
