The General Warehouse Worker role at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is a dynamic opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This position involves a range of physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking products, as well as operating manual and powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • BUILDING AND STAGING ORDERS: Accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks
  • PRODUCT HANDLING: Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
  • MATERIAL HANDLING: Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials to designated locations
  • WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE: Assist with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
  • RECYCLING ROOM: Work in the recycling room, re-work damaged product and stack empty pallets and shells
  • MEET PRODUCTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for meeting productivity requirements

Requirements for this role include:

  • EDUCATION: High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • EXPERIENCE: Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • SKILLS: Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
  • STANDING AND WALKING: Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • PUSHING AND PULLING: Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
