Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team, supporting advanced cardiovascular programs by preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Obtain all necessary certifications and qualifications within 6 months.
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program or military program with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support training required prior to providing patient care.
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
