As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sevita, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide essential nursing services, administer medications, and support individuals in their homes and communities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitoring health conditions and providing quality services
- Administering medications and overseeing staff members who administer medications
- Providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services
- Conducting assessments and implementing health care services
- Training staff members on universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration
**Requirements:**
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate
- One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
- Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Other certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training
