About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner Preceptor to join our team at Illumia. As a key member of our Palliative Care division, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality training and mentorship to newly hired or tenured NPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the learning experience for preceptees, ensuring they perform competently in their required responsibilities.
  • Mentor and coach preceptees in palliative clinical policies and procedures, documentation, value-based patient outcomes, technology, and compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform ongoing metric monitoring to provide coaching and feedback to preceptees.
  • Conduct patient home visits as needed.
Requirements
  • Advanced Practice Practitioner required.
  • Unencumbered NP and RN license in work state(s) assigned.
  • Active DEA license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experienced in part B documentation requirements.
