Our client is seeking experienced Water/Wastewater Engineers with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license who are eager to advance within a growing organization. This hybrid role offers flexibility with multiple reporting locations throughout the State of Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project manager, client liaison, and/or senior technical advisor for designated clients and municipal client managers.
  • Independently manage water/wastewater engineering projects encompassing planning, analysis, design, and construction of water systems, including supply, treatment, storage, and distribution, as well as wastewater systems, including collection, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to promote our water and wastewater engineering services.
  • Provide permitting services for water and wastewater projects.
  • Participate in and/or oversee project pursuit and proposal efforts, collaborating with marketing teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements.
  • Assist in securing funding for water and wastewater projects in alignment with client needs, working alongside the Funding Department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Minnesota and/or North Dakota, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, contracting, budgeting, and the impact of local, state, and federal regulations on water and wastewater systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
