Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, adapting to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed, ensuring students receive the best possible support.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Colorado state license or eligibility for licensure, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
