Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Pediatric Care

About the Role:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our pediatric department. As an LPN, you will work under the guidance of a registered nurse or other authorized healthcare provider to provide skilled nursing tasks and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current New York State Practical Nurse License or ability to practice within the 90-day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
