Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the supervisor, receive, identify, package, and systematically store service components.
  • Retrieve parts as instructed by sales orders or shipping documentation, and prepare items for dispatch, including constructing shipping containers for specific components.
  • Assist in establishing new storage areas and maintain cleanliness and organization within these spaces.
  • Verify components prior to shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity, correct addresses, fulfillment of order comments, and appropriate shipping methods (e.g., UPS, 2nd day, ground).
  • Operate machinery such as Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, and Combilifts.
  • Manage inventory tasks at the designated storage facility.
  • Contribute to maintenance tasks, such as painting, when time allows.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Familiarity with the Taylor Parts System is preferred.
  • Ability to operate Forklifts and Combilifts is required.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
