Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Evalcare. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality educational services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Education Plans

Create and implement personalized education plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student. This will involve designing and delivering tailored instructional programs that promote academic and personal growth.

Collaborate with Families and Teams

Work closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to establish clear goals and outcomes for each student. This will involve regular communication, progress monitoring, and adjustments to the education plan as needed.

Accurate Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including evaluations, assessments, and progress reports. Ensure that all documentation meets state and city regulations.

Evaluations and Progress Monitoring

Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure student progress and adjust the education plan accordingly. Produce comprehensive reports that meet district standards.

Participation in Meetings

Attend all meetings related to your students, including IEP meetings, progress monitoring meetings, and other relevant gatherings.
