Senior Deputy Probation Director

The Senior Deputy Probation Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and supervision of one of the bureaus within the Probation Agency. This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to direct activities, coordinate programs, and supervise staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in probation and community corrections, as well as management and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure superior service delivery
- Supervise and guide assigned staff to achieve goals and performance standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partnering agencies to advance the mission of the Probation Agency
- Prepare and manage budgets, as well as perform financial analysis and reporting
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Progressive management experience in probation and/or community corrections
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Experience managing budgets and performing financial analysis
- Ability to prepare and present public presentations to a board or commission
