Job Summary:
Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in the field of interventional radiology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of technical procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography, to diagnose and treat patients with vascular and non-vascular conditions.
- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy units.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and medical histories.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate complex imaging equipment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
