Physical Therapist Assistant PTA Job Description

At Prominent Career Solutions, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing Home Health Agency. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their treatment plans and participate in therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer manual physical exercises and instruct patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
  • Assess and interpret evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physician(s).
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Follow-up visits with home health orthopedic patients.
  • Continuing to meet eligibility requirements for home health services.
  • Maintenance therapy.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program.
  • In-state licensure.
  • 1 year of home health experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Strong caring interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
