To be successful in this role, you will:
- Perform each job with excellence and diligence, meeting the high standards of Sarasota Ford.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
- Communicate effectively with the service team and customers, keeping them informed of diagnosis and progress.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, safe, and well-maintained, with all necessary equipment and tools available.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques, staying up-to-date with rapidly changing technology.
- Perform general maintenance and thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including disposal of hazardous waste.
