We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at North Florida Surgical Pavilion. As a key member of our ambulatory surgery center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
- Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
- Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
- Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
- Communicate patient status information to other staff responsible for patient care.
- Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment, adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
- State Radiology Technician license required.
Located in Gainesville, Florida, we serve Alachua County and surrounding communities. Our state-of-the-art facility provides services in GYN, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, retina, plastics, podiatry, oculoplastics, and pain specialties. We average over 275 cases a month and are accredited by the AAAHC.
