Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. This role involves preparing, administering, and documenting medications for residents. To be successful, you will need to:

  • Ensure accurate and safe medication administration
  • Verify written orders from licensed physicians
  • Identify residents before administering medications
  • Document any instances where prescribed medication is not administered

As a CMA, you will also be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate records, and following facility policies. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively are essential in this role.

To qualify for this position, you must have current Medication Aide Certification for NC and active CPR certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, are also required. You will work closely with our Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse and other team members to provide high-quality care to our residents.
