Origami Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals with neurological, developmental, mental health, and orthopedic conditions. We offer residential and outpatient programs, fostering a positive and therapeutic environment for our clients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in the Residential Program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care, support, and advocacy for our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centered care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our clients are met.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily reports and client progress.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse and therapist(s) to implement treatment plans and strategies.
  • Assist with food service, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Provide transportation to and from community-based activities and appointments as needed.
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficient and timely, able to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CNA certification
  • Medication administration and wound care experience
