Job Summary
The Registered Nurse at Southwestern Medical Center is responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility. This includes maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and ensuring the delivery of patient care commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the Hospital's Service Excellence Program to improve patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensure delivery of patient care commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.
- Participate in hospital-wide and unit-specific performance projects.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure issued by the State of Oklahoma.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- NIH Stroke certification by the end of Clinical Nursing Orientation.
- Graduate from an accredited professional nurse program.
