Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients across all acuity levels and age groups in various settings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with clinical staff, and knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
Responsibilities:
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures. This will include holding current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or a compact state, meeting all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the CRNA must be a graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs and certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, the CRNA must:
- Hold current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or a compact state, meeting all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Be a graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
- Be certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Demonstrate current competency in clinical responsibilities, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
