We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team at Centurion Selection. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closure of multifamily construction projects utilizing stick frame techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing residential construction projects, with a strong focus on leadership, organization, and communication skills. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Budget and Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and managing change orders. Review and approve invoices, and ensure financial controls are in place.
- Site Management and Oversight: Supervise day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Manage subcontractors and construction crews, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise.
- Communication and Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Prepare and present progress reports, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any issues or changes.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively. Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the construction process. Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that the project meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in multifamily construction projects, with a focus on stick frame construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
