Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to provide optimal patient care
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Med Surg/Peds, ICU, or Emergency Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, depending on department
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
