Nurses First Solutions is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including angiographic and fluoroscopic systems.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
