The Senior Universal Banker plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding client service while facilitating digital interactions and providing financial guidance. This position requires proficiency in both teller and platform operations within our banking centers. The role involves flexibility to work across various branches based on the bank's requirements, contributing to the overall growth of our services and achieving specific individual and team objectives. This is an in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel frequently to various branches to support staff as necessary.
  • Enhance the client experience through effective sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Commercial clients.
  • Educate clients on banking solutions and promote the use of digital tools during interactions.
  • Engage in lobby management by welcoming clients and proactively addressing their banking needs.
  • Reach out to customers to foster retention and growth of Consumer and Business Banking relationships.

As a Senior Universal Banker, you will also participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven sales and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and operational skills.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring staff.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of 3 years of banking experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications

Must maintain a satisfactory NMLS registration in accordance with the SAFE Act regulations.

Education and Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Experience with electronic banking channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, eStatements, and Bill Pay is preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence, and effectively communicating in group settings.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
